Hello!
I still am in the mood for winter cards and not ready to give them up! Today I am showcasing a card created using the Snowy Layered Christmas Trees die set from Kat Scrappiness.
To start this card, I used some four of Tim Holtz new Distress inks to ink blend a background. The colours I used were Villainous Potion, Prize Ribbon, Salvaged Patina, and Saltwater Taffy. I thought these colours looked amazing together for a twilight night sky. For this card, I used a little water and quickly picked it up with a rag to get those speckles.
I cut a simple stitch snowbank and glued that to the bottom, and then glued down my layered tree. I kept this tree rather simple, but you can easily add glitter, or maybe other critters you’ve stamped out and coloured :). To finish the card off, I used some white enamel dots in different sizes, coming down like large snow flakes.
Thank you so much for joining me, I hope that this has created some inspiration for you and that you get into your crafting supplies and create wonderful loving projects. Until the next time, take care!
