Welcome to my Craft Roulette #153 entry!
Have you heard of Craft Roulette? Every Friday evening, on Youtube, Mary Gunn hosts a live show where she spins a wheel to randomly select four categories that will be the criteria for building a card. Mary and a guest will create a card using these criteria and then you are given 48 hours to submit your own for a chance at a prize! Check out the Craft Roulette website for more information.
Criteria and implementation
- Product: Rounded edges
- Colours: 2 Blues +2
- Element: Flowers
- Random: Fussy cutting
Spring is coming! This week I have created a lovely card with daffodils and a lovely little bee.
The background was inked with shades of blue and teal from Pink Fresh and then water was added to create the splotches. I have these waxy crayons that I added water to and used a brush to create different coloured splashes.
The sentiment was inked with Versa Fine Nocturnal and then I added tape over the top of each word so I could heat set the bottom in gold. I really liked how this turned out!
To finish the card off, I added daffodils and bee to the bottom of the card, the sentiment in the center, cropped the corners of the panel and glued it down to a piece of black card stock. Easy peasy! 🙂
