Hello everyone! Today I wanted to share a card that I created using Jaded Blossom’s Halloween banner dies. I also am using more of the Graphic 45 pattern paper which just never ends! 🙂

The dies that came in this die set are adorable! There are several different banner that you can decorate with the coordinating shapes which are also included. The part that I love about these dies are the stitching on the smaller Halloween shapes.

The card sketch I followed is called Sunday Sketches SS007 by Stamps To Die For. This card sketch is rather older, dated back to 2016, but I liked the layout and wanted to give it a try.

Sunday sketch #7 by stamps to die for

The banner I chose for this card were the adorable ghosts because I felt they would look great with the pattern paper I was using. I used the scraps left over from my other projects using this Graphic 45 Midnight Tales pattern paper, and added the ghost banner which really pops on the cared lol. The sentiment came from November 2020 card kit by Simon Says Stamp which worked perfectly because I was not interested in creating a “Hallowe’en” card, but more of a “just because” card.

I love how this card turned out, and even though the pattern paper and the dies kind of don’t go together, it works for me. I personally would recommend using these banner dies on more cutesy paper like Doodlebug and Lawn Fawn. Their paper I feel would look really good with these ghost banners 🙂
