Spellbinder’s January 2022 card kit

Hello everyone! Thank you for joining me for my 10 cards from Spellbinder’s January 2022 card kit.

This month’s card kit, called Truly, Madly, Deeply… well actually, last month’s kit, was an adorable kit that allowed me to create some fun just because Valentine inspired cards. I am pretty happy with some of the cards I created this month, especially the midnight dog love card 🙂

Before I started creating any cards, I took an evening to create a few dozen heart flowers using the die that came in the kit. What I did was cut the stems in both green and white cardstock and the flowers in red, white, gold and two shades of pink. I glued all the heart flowers over the green stems and then I glued just the tips of the white stems over top of the hearts. When the glue dried a bit, I snipped all the white stems off leave a mini white heart. It took a good chunk of time die cutting every piece out and assembling them together, but I really enjoyed the outcome. I ended up using a bunch of these on different cards 🙂

As always, with these Spellbinders kits, you can create a wide range of different style cards, and you can see that with the 10 cards I created. There is a shaker card using the dies in the kit as the filler, a unique dog card, a card featuring a huge tag, and a card with butterflies fluttering out from ripped paper!
